The A66 both ways from Eston Road to Normanby Road (Asda Traffic Lights) remains closed after a fatal crash over the weekend.

Today: Morning fog patches soon clearing to leave a fine day, with plenty of sunny spells. Perhaps some cloudier moments in the east, with the odd light shower possible. Feeling pleasantly warm in the sunshine, with an easterly breeze developing. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Tonight: A fine evening, then dry overnight with lengthy clear spells. Breezy over the hills and along the coast. Not quite as chilly as recent nights. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
