The Met Office forecast for Darlington and County Durham shows dry conditions from Monday to Wednesday, with cloud and mist entering the forecast later in the period.
Monday will begin with clear skies and temperatures of 12C at midnight. The temperature will fall to 7C by 6am, before rising through the morning. Sunny conditions will continue until 11am, followed by sunny intervals through the afternoon. The temperature will reach 21C at 3pm and 4pm. Cloud will increase during the evening, with temperatures falling to 13C by 11pm. The chance of precipitation will remain below 5 per cent throughout the day.
Tuesday will start with partly cloudy skies and temperatures of 13C at midnight. Sunny intervals are expected between 6am and 7am, before cloud covers the area from 8am to 5pm. Temperatures will reach 20C from 1pm to 5pm. Sunny intervals will return between 6pm and 7pm, with cloud during the later evening. The chance of precipitation will rise to 30 per cent between 2pm and 5pm, then fall to 10 per cent by 9pm.
Wednesday will have cloud and mist during the early hours. The temperature will be 15C at 1am and 4am, rising to 16C at 7am. Sunny intervals will develop from 10am and continue through the afternoon. The temperature will reach 23C at 4pm, before falling to 18C by 10pm. The chance of precipitation will range from 20 per cent to 40 per cent.
Thursday will begin with cloud and mist, with temperatures of 17C at 1am and 16C at 4am and 7am. Cloud will continue until 10am. Light showers are forecast at 1pm and 4pm, when temperatures will reach 22C and 23C. The chance of precipitation will reach 60 per cent at 1pm. Conditions will return to partly cloudy skies during the evening, with temperatures falling to 17C by 10pm and a 40 per cent chance of precipitation.
