A woman has been taken to hospital after being knocked unconscious from a fallen tree branch along a main road in East Yorkshire.
The incident happened on York Road in Beverley at 1.13pm on Sunday (August 23).
The woman had become trapped under the fallen branch, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said.
She sustained a head injury and was found unconscious by crews.
A service spokesperson said: “Fire service released using manual handling to lift tree branch away from casualty. Patient left in care of Ambulance Service.”
