A York sports centre will reopen its two swimming pools after a technical problem caused them to close temporarily.
York Sport Village, in Heslington, will reopen its main pool and training pool tomorrow (Tuesday, August 25).
It comes after the sports centre announced that it had closed its facilities “until further notice”, cancelling all of this morning’s lessons.
A spokesperson said: “Following the technical issue today, we can confirm that both the main pool and training pool will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday 25th August.
“All scheduled swimming lessons and timetabled sessions will resume as normal.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding during today's closure.”
