FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a car blaze on a major York road.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident on the A64 in Fulford at 9.46am on Monday (August 24).
A service spokesperson said: “Crews from York, Acomb and Tadcaster were mobilised to a car fire on the dual carriageway.
“Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet, one thermal imagining camera and breathing apparatus for comfort wearing.”
