A CYCLIST suffered a fractured ankle after being knocked off their bike in a "fail-to-stop" crash in York.
North Yorkshire Police said it happened at about 11.40am on Friday, August 21 in Haxby, in York Road near the junction with Holly Tree Lane.
A spokesperson for the force said a "dark blue" vehicle was involved which did not stop at the scene.
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information to help identify the driver.
A force spokesperson said: "We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, saw a dark blue vehicle in the area at the time, or has dashcam footage that could assist our investigation."
