A CYCLIST has been seriously injured following a crash on a North Yorkshire village road.
The county's police force said it happened around 12.30pm on Sunday, August 2 in Busby Lane, Great Busby.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Two pedal cyclists were travelling on Busby Lane from the direction of the A172 towards Great Busby.
"One of them took evasive action for what is described to be 'an orange tractor' travelling in the opposite direction.
"This caused a cyclist to come off his bike, suffering serious but not life-threatening injuries.
"One of the bikes involved was a blue Basso carbon fibre pedal cycle."
"We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or may have any dash-cam or information that can help identify the tractor."
