An historic country pub has been handed a one-star food hygiene rating after an inspection took place earlier this year.
The Waggon and Horses Inn, located on Hebden Bridge Road in Oxenhope, Keighley, was inspected on February 26 and told "major improvement necessary" in two key areas.
The pub, which is said to date back to the 1850s, is named after its original function of offering a horse-and-cart ferry service across the Pennines.
It says it is a family-run, dog-friendly venue serving food and real ale.

However, in the inspection, food hygiene officers found evidence of pest activity and it received the low rating for cleanliness and food safety management.
The T&A requested the full report from Bradford Council.
The report stated: "One dead rat was witnessed in the unused storage room."
Officers also noted "some droppings and chewed expanding foam," and advised the pub to "call pest control company".
Other issues included a "build up of grease" in the fryer pipe and "several dirty tea towels".
The inspectors suggested, in the interests of food hygiene and safety, that the owners "seal all open food in the chest freezer".
It was also recommended the pub "seal ceiling hatch in the beer cellar when not in use" to deter potential pests and "ensure blue roll is stored off surface to protect from contamination".
While food handling was rated "good," both the cleanliness of the building and overall management of food safety were judged as major concerns.
The T&A has contacted the pub but received no response.
