From playful teens to affectionate lap cats, seven felines are hoping to find their forever homes in the region.
The cats at RSCPA Great Ayton, in North Yorkshire, are all looking for new companions.
All seven of these furry-friends have their own personalities and requirements, ranging from the independent explorers to the cuddly companions who love being the centre of attention.
Sprite

At around one year old, Sprite is one of the youngest in the group.
She enjoys a fuss but is also an independent cat who likes doing her own thing - so would prefer to be the only cat in the home, with access to outdoor space where she can explore.
She can live with children of secondary school age but would rather not share her space with a dog.
Tango

Two-year-old Tango can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she settles she enjoys plenty of attention before heading off to explore.
She is looking for a home where she can be the only pet, with outdoor access and only older children in the house.
Mini

Also around two years old, Mini takes a little time to come out of her shell.
Once she gets to know people, however, she enjoys affection and will happily look for some attention.
A fan of a good cat nap, Mini is looking for a home where she can be the only pet and enjoy access to the outdoors.
Millie and Mango

Four-year-old friends Millie and Mango are seeking a home together.
Millie may be shy initially, but she is described as a sweet-natured cat who loves a fuss and can often be heard purring to her hearts content.
She enjoys spending time indoors and relaxing with a nap alongside Mango, who is equally reserved when first meeting people but loves attention once he feels comfortable and enjoys snuggling up with his best friend.
The pair are hoping to find a family willing to welcome them both.
Lucia

Lucia is around two years old, and loves being at the centre of attention.
She enjoys cuddles and affection and is happiest when she has people around for the majority of the day.
Lucia would prefer to be the only pet in the household, with older children only and plenty of outdoor access to explore.

Pipi

Three-year-old Pipi is described as a delightful and affectionate cat who loves cuddles and fuss.
Her distinctive face and permanently stuck-out tongue have made her a particular favourite with staff and volunteers.
While she enjoys human company, Pipi would like to be the only cat in the home and would prefer owners who are around for most of the day.
She also needs outdoor access and would be best suited to a household with older children and no dogs.
Whether you're looking for a confident explorer, a couch companion or even a bonded pair of friends, these seven cats are all waiting for the chance to start a new chapter with a loving family.
