A County Durham man has been fined after admitting to breaching a sexual risk order related to internet-capable devices.
Christopher Green, 38, of Cypress Court, Brandon, near Durham, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on August 18.
The court heard that, on July 24, Green failed to notify his risk management officer within three days of obtaining a device capable of accessing the internet.
This notification was a requirement under a sexual risk order made on March 4.

Green indicated a guilty plea to the breach.
The magistrates imposed an £80 fine, taking his guilty plea into account. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Additionally, Green must register with Durham City police station for three years from March 4, as part of the notification requirements.
