Three men suspected of planning to steal cars have been arrested after police stopped a suspicious vehicle in Ossett.
Officers were called to reports of a vehicle acting suspiciously on Owl Lane, Dewsbury, at around midnight on Friday, August 21.
The vehicle was later spotted travelling along Queen Street in Ossett, where officers stopped the car and carried out a search.
Suspected car theft equipment recovered
During the search, officers found what are believed to be blank keys, a key reader, hand tools, balaclavas and gloves.
The items are commonly associated with vehicle theft investigations, although police have not linked them to any specific offence.
Three men arrested
A 29-year-old man from Bradford, a 32-year-old man from Batley and a 23-year-old man from Dewsbury were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit theft.
All three have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Enquiries ongoing
West Yorkshire Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The arrests follow reports of the vehicle acting suspiciously shortly before officers located and stopped it in Ossett.

A spokesperson said: "Officers were called to reports of a vehicle acting suspiciously on Owl Lane, Dewsbury at around midnight (21 August).
"Police stopped the vehicle after they spotted it driving down Queen Street, Ossett, and the car was searched.
"Officers found what is believed to be blank keys, a key reader, hand tools, balaclavas and gloves.
"Three men aged 29, from Bradford, aged 32, from Batley, and aged 23 from Dewsbury were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit theft and bailed pending further enquiries."
