AN evening of music and memories was made possible by a generous gift.

Families supported by Martin House Children’s Hospice were invited to attend Symphonic Ibiza in Harrogate after 100 free tickets were donated by event organiser Freddy White, who visited the hospice earlier this summer.

Nina Hoskin, family support pathway coordinator at Martin House, said: "We're incredibly grateful to Freddy at Sound & White for organising these free tickets.

"It was a really enjoyable evening, and all the families had a fantastic time."

The tickets included several wheelchair-accessible spaces, allowing young people supported by the hospice to enjoy the event at the Yorkshire Showground.

The night featured performances from Heather Small and Rebecca Ferguson, with a DJ set by Love Island star Alex Bowen before Vernon Kay stepped up to the decks.

Martin House supports more than 550 children and young people with life-shortening conditions each year, along with their families, across West, North and East Yorkshire.
