A ROAD in Allerton is set to close for over a month.
Street lighting works are to be carried out on a stretch of Prune Park Lane, prompting its closure from its junction with Wilsden Road to its junction with Stony Lane.
The closure will begin at 8am on September 1 and is scheduled to last until 6pm on October 2.
However, the closure could be extended for up to 18 months if necessary.
Access will be maintained for vehicles being used in connection with the works and pedestrians.
Alternative routes for drivers include the unaffected section of Prune Park Lane, Stony Lane, and Wilsden Road.
The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council intends to make a temporary prohibition of traffic order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14.
