A woman has been banned for 12 months after admitting to driving with drugs in her system in County Durham.
Stephanie Goodall, of Marigold Crescent, Houghton-le-Spring, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court on August 18.
The court heard that on January 14, Goodall drove a Vauxhall Astra on the A183 at Bournmoor.
Tests found not less than 3.1ug/L of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and not less than 73ug/L of Benzoylecgonine, both above the legal limit.

Goodall pleaded guilty to two counts of driving over the drug limit and to using the vehicle without third-party insurance.
For the drug offences, she was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. She must also pay £85 in costs and a £48 victim services surcharge.
The court ordered deductions from benefits. Her guilty plea was considered in sentencing.
