A ROAD on the outskirts of a North Yorkshire village has been blocked by a 'large fallen tree'.
North Yorkshire Police has warned the public to avoid the area around Seavegate in East Ayton, near Forge Valley and Scarborough, after a large tree has fallen and blocked the road.

They said there is a 'full road closure'
"Highways and officers are on scene currently. Please avoid the area if you can, and use alternative routes where possible," said a spokesperson for the force.
