Search the Public Notice Portal Multiple road and footpath closures have been scheduled across North Yorkshire for maintenance and infrastructure works.
North Yorkshire Council has announced the temporary closure of Gilsthwaite Lane, Kirk Hammerton, for a detailed examination of a bridge structure.
The closure will be in effect on August 26 and will last the day.
The maximum duration of the order is three months, but it is anticipated the closure will only be for the day.
A local alternative route will be signposted.
In Ripon, Dallamires Lane will also be closed for a temporary period from August 24 to September 7 for carriageway resurfacing works.
The maximum duration of this order is one year.

Pedestrians in Harrogate should be aware of the continued closure of several public footpaths due to major sewerage infrastructure works.
The footpaths will remain closed for a further six months until March 5, or until the completion of the works, whichever is earlier.
In Pateley Bridge, Wath Road will be closed from September 7 to October 16 for works, with a maximum order duration until December 7.
Similarly, Wath Lane will also be closed for the same period for works, with the same maximum order duration.
Stockeld Lane in Sicklinghall will be closed from September 8 to September 21 for works, with a maximum order duration until December 8.
Rossett Green Lane, Harrogate, will be closed from September 9 to September 28 for S&E Copsey Groundworks to provide a new sewer connection.
The maximum duration of this order is until December 9.
All closures will be subject to access to premises, and the closure periods will be indicated by traffic signs.
Local alternative routes will be signposted where appropriate.
