If you are looking for things to do in the summer holidays with children in Yorkshire, you might think about going on a walk around the countryside.
While a walk around the Yorkshire countryside is a great idea, you can get children even more engaged by visiting somewhere a bit more magical.
The Studfold Adventure Trail is packed with fairy-themed fun and things for children to get involved in.
There are "hands-on" activities throughout the trail as well as a playground and fairy villages to explore.
What is the Studfold Adventure Trail like?
On the Studfold Adventure Trail website, it says: "Magic is everywhere on the Studfold Adventure and Fairy Trail, with more than 30 fairy and pixie houses, hidden clues to solve, smelly-feely-boxes and enchanted woodland, all to discover in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales."
You can explore the Two Stone Wishes Fairy Villages after unlocking the enchanted gate using the code from the trail.
Children will have to work hard to spot all of the fairy doors and houses and can plant their own wish in the fairy wish garden.
There are also fairy houses dotted along the trail where children can spend some time peeking into the little windows.
The trail also features a playground with plenty of equipment for children to climb over and a giant fairy house.
If you bring a picnic, you can drop it off at the reception for it to be delivered especially to you at the play area so you can enjoy it while looking at the beautiful views.
If you want to treat yourself, you can make a stop at the Nidderdale Way Café where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast, slice of cake or light lunch.
You might want to try out the 9-hole mini golf course that is under cover in case the weather takes a turn and is fun for both children and adults.

"She really enjoyed it and I enjoyed the walk.
"It goes over a few fields and dips into a little woodland and there is a playground and picnic area about 2/3 way round which was perfect for us to stop for lunch while she could play.
"There was also a mini crazy golf (not included in price) and a cafe.
