Two fire crews responded to reports of a house fire in Huntington, York, this morning (Friday).
They went to the incident on Boundary Close at10.54am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Acomb and York crews were mobilised to a kitchen fire in a residential property.

“The fire was out on arrival but still smouldering.
“Crews used one hose reel jet to dampen down and positive pressure ventilation fans to ventilate the property. The cause is believed to be accidental.”
