BRADFORD Council is introducing 'no waiting at any time' restrictions on Thornton Road and Water Lane.

The new order was made on August 18 and will be effective from today, August 21. The order was made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The restrictions apply to specific lengths of Thornton Road and Water Lane in Bradford's City ward.

Residents can find more detailed information about the affected areas during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception on the ground floor of City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY.

The information is also available on the council's website or can be obtained by contacting Shahid Aziz, Engineer - Traffic & Road Safety South, via email.

Residents wishing to challenge the validity of the order can do so on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Any such applications must be made to the High Court within six weeks.
