A man is due to appear in court accused of trying to abduct a child.
Terrence Sarjantson, 43, of Carlow Street in Middlesbrough, will appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court, on Friday, August 21, charged with attempted child abduction.
It follows an incident incident in the Grove Hill area of Middlesbrough on Wednesday, August 19.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Police have charged a 43-year-old man with attempted child abduction following a report of an incident in the Grove Hill area of Middlesbrough on Wednesday, August 19.
"The man’s ethnicity is white northern European (Wales).
"The man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Friday, August 21."
