A man has appeared in court after exposing himself on a rooftop and assaulting three police officers during an incident in a County Durham village.
Paul Bell, 35, of Elliot Street, Sacriston, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on August 18.
The 35-year-old pleaded guilty to assaulting three police constables in the execution of their duty on January 13.
He was ordered to pay £150 compensation to each officer.

Bell also indicated a guilty plea to outraging public decency by standing on the roof of a building, exposing his genitals, and using offensive language in a public place.
He was fined £240. No order for costs was made, as compensation to the officers was prioritised.
Bell also admitted using threatening or abusive behaviour, with the court imposing no separate penalty for this offence.
