THREE women have been arrested after a cross county 'theft'.
North Yorkshire Police says it has arrested three women have been arrested on suspicion of theft after an incident at Superdrug in Northallerton yesterday afternoon (August 21).
The incident took place on the High Street, Northallerton when two women reportedly filled their bags with cosmetics and left the shop without paying.

"They were believed to have got into a black Toyota Aygo, which was then driven away by a third person," said a spokesperson for the force.
Officers tracked the car to St James Retail Park in Knaresborough, where they arrested three women from the North East aged 51, 38, and 31.
They have been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Retail crime remains a priority for North Yorkshire Police because of the impact it has on local businesses and our communities. It’s not just about stolen goods.
