East Riding of Yorkshire Council will close Narrow Lane, between Bridge House and Mill Field House, for fibre cable installation.
The work is part of a larger home fibre scheme affecting Postern, Gatehead, and Narrow Lane.
The closure will start on September 1, 2026, and is expected to last two days.
The council said the closure is necessary to "ensuring the safety of the public".

Although the order is valid for 18 months, the council anticipates the work will be completed within two days.
Traffic will be redirected via Postern Lane, Langrickgate Lane, Ballhall Lane, and Hagg Lane, Cottingwith CP, Wolds Weighton Ward.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure.
The road will be closed to all traffic, but emergency vehicles will still have access.
