Police have released this image in connection with an ongoing investigation.
It happened at 11.30pm on Saturday June 27 after a person was picked up at York Station.
Officers say the passenger was taken to Cornlands Road and upon drop-off refused to pay the fare.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: ““The sole occupant left without offering payment into a block of communal flats.
“If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please contact us.”
