Have you played Trivial Pursuit in Leeds yet?
The game spans the city, is completely free to play and features questions based entirely on Leeds.
Running until August 30, players collect wedges at locations across the city, including Wellington Place, the Merrion Centre and Trinity Leeds, before facing the final question at Leeds City Museum, where a specially created set of the famous board awaits.
It has been brought to the city by LeedsBID as part of Leeds 400 celebrations, marking 400 years since the city received its charter, and has been created in collaboration with Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company.
A huge 12,000 people started playing Trivial Pursuit Leeds over its opening weekend (July 25 and 26).
Martin Dickson, of LeedsBID, said it was a 'phenomenal first weekend'.
'In what is an extra-special year, this is a citywide celebration of the stories, achievements, and
surprising trivia from the last four centuries,' he added.
'We think this could be how cities do summer from now on.'
Hannah Sweeney, senior manager, location-based entertainment, Hasbro, added: 'Trivial Pursuit Leeds was the natural next step from Monopoly Leeds.
'We wanted residents and visitors to lean into the learning, curiosity and knowledge as Leeds
celebrates 400 years.
'One of the things we love most about our games is their ability to bring people together. It’s incredibly rewarding to see Trivial Pursuit move beyond the tabletop and into a real-world experience where friends, families and visitors can connect, explore the city together and create lasting memories.'
Play daily across category locations from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and
Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
