A driver whose view was blocked by stuffed toys and later killed a man in a collision in West Yorkshire has avoided jail.
John Nottingham, 80, died after being struck by a vehicle in the Lupset area of Wakefield on March 1, 2024.
His family described him as a much-loved husband, father, grandfather - missed by all who knew him.
What happened?
Rosemarie Ozsko, 65, was driving when the collision happened at the junction of Waterton Road and Dewsbury Road.
She entered the left-hand filter lane and drove through the lights as they changed from amber to red, hitting Mr Nottingham as he began crossing.
Ozsko, from Wakefield, stopped at the scene and tried to help.
Mr Nottingham died in hospital the following day.

Investigators found stuffed toys hanging from Ozsko’s rear-view mirror had "a significant effect on visibility."
Ozsko pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving.
She received an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months along with a two-year disqualification from driving.
