A BRADFORD cat rescue charity is hosting a coffee and cake afternoon to raise money for the charity.
Allerton Cat Rescue has rehomed cats and kittens from its Allerton Road base for 60 years.
The cat rescue will host a coffee, tea and cake afternoon at the Little House Community Centre on Market Street, Bingley, from 12noon to 3pm on Saturday, August 22.
A rescue volunteer said fundraisers like the afternoon are vital to bringing in money for the charity.
Allerton Cat Rescue volunteer Cathy Hulin said: “It’s so important to give cats and kittens a forever home.
“Many of them will have suffered out on the streets, and they deserve to live a better life.”
The event, which will feature a raffle and stall items for sale, costs £5.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
The £5 admission includes refreshments, with all proceeds going towards the care of rescued cats.
