CITY of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is introducing new parking restrictions on Tong Lane.

Starting tomorrow, Friday, August 21, drivers will face "no waiting at any time" rules on specific sections of Tong Lane, West Gate Hill Street, and Bradford and Westgate Road in the Holme Wood and Bierley areas.

The rules will be enforced around the clock.

This means vehicles cannot wait in these areas at any time, including the entrance to Shawfield Farm.

A copy of the order and more details can be viewed at City Hall during normal office hours or on the council's website.

Any objections to the order's validity, based on it exceeding the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, can be raised in the High Court within six weeks from the order's creation date, August 18, 2026.
