Ryanair is offering £29.99 "rescue fares" for passengers affected by EasyJet's decision to scrap its full Leeds Bradford schedule.
The airline announced the fares on Thursday for passengers booked on EasyJet flights from Leeds Bradford to Malaga.
Jade Kirwan, director of communications for Ryanair, said: "While EasyJet abandons Leeds Bradford, cutting its full schedule from January 5, 2027, Ryanair is saving the day with rescue fares from just £29.99 for affected passengers – particularly those booked to fly easyJet from Leeds Bradford to Malaga, who can now switch to one of Ryanair’s 10 Malaga services per week.
"Ryanair’s rescue fares are available to book now on the Ryanair app/website."
Passengers can book the rescue fares through Ryanair’s app or website until the end of February.
EasyJet currently operates direct services from Leeds Bradford to Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Paris, Barcelona and Belfast.
