A TEEN was seriously injured after a motorbike which failed to stop for police was involved in a crash with a car on a busy Bradford road.
The incident occurred at the junction of Moorside Road and Harrogate Road at 3.47pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Pictures show the area cordoned off by police with paramedics also present.
Two teens arrested
The motorcycle was carrying two 17-year-old boys, both of whom were arrested on suspicion of offences including theft of motor vehicle, failing to stop for officers, and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
One of them was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
Teens taken to hospital
The motorbike had been seen by police shortly before the collision and had failed to stop for officers.
Both teenagers were taken to hospital. The second boy sustained minor injuries.
One of the 17-year-olds remains in hospital after suffering a serious leg injury, while the other has been discharged, interviewed by officers, and released under investigation.
Police appeal
The Roads Policing Unit is urging anyone who witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it to come forward.
Motorists in the area are also asked to check for any relevant dashcam footage.
