A luxury Porsche Panamera was taken off the road in Bradford after what began as a routine document check uncovered a series of motoring offences.
West Yorkshire Police officers from Operation Steerside stopped the vehicle on Manningham Lane and found it had been running without both a valid MOT and vehicle tax.
Checks revealed the Porsche's MOT and tax had expired in January 2026.
The vehicle was seized on behalf of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) and the driver was reported.
Sharing details of the stop on social media, officers described it as "bad timing" for the driver, whose high-end vehicle was quickly removed from the road following the checks.

On social media, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said:
"This Porsche Panamera was stopped for a document check on Manningham Lane West Yorkshire Police - Bradford West.
"Bad timing for the driver, as it had run out of both MOT and Tax in January 2026 Seized on behalf of Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency and driver reported."
