A DANCE school is launching a new series of weekly classes designed for adults of all ages and abilities.

RISE Dance will host the sessions at Victoria Hall in Saltaire, West Yorkshire, starting on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

The classes aim to make ballroom, Latin, and line dancing more accessible across the region.

Rosie Gentile, managing director of RISE Dance, said: "We're incredibly excited to be joining Saltaire's thriving community and adding to the fantastic range of activities already available in the area.

"Following the success of our existing classes, we wanted to create more opportunities for adults to experience the many benefits of dancing.

"Whether you're taking your very first steps on the dance floor, looking for a fun way to keep active, or returning to a hobby you've enjoyed in the past, we'd love to welcome you."

Classes will take place in the Evans Room at Victoria Hall, a historic venue in the heart of Saltaire.

The weekly schedule includes line dancing at 6pm, beginner ballroom and Latin at 7pm, and improver ballroom and Latin at 8pm.

RISE Dance selected Saltaire as the next location for expansion in response to growing demand for adult dance opportunities across the area.

The classes are open to adults of all experience levels and are designed to be both supportive and welcoming.

Ms Gentile said: "Dance is about so much more than learning steps.

"It's a chance to switch off from the pressures of everyday life, challenge yourself, build confidence and simply have fun.

"We're passionate about creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable, regardless of age or experience, and we're looking forward to sharing that with the people of Saltaire."

Ballroom and Latin classes are attended in pairs, while line dancing is open to individuals.

RISE Dance said the launch reflects its continued growth and commitment to making dance accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for all.

The school, based in West Yorkshire, offers a wide range of dance classes for both children and adults.
