WALLACE and Gromit will take centre stage in an immersive family experience this September.

The Elland Silver Band will perform the soundtrack of A Grand Day Out live in Brighouse as the animated film plays on screen.

Sam Harrison from the band said: "We're passionate about finding new and exciting ways to introduce people to live music.

"Combining a much-loved film with a live brass soundtrack is a fantastic way to do that."

The event takes place at Central Methodist Church on September 26, with performances at 2pm and 4pm.

During the interval, audience members will have the chance to try playing a brass instrument.

Mr Harrison said: "And we're particularly excited about giving people the opportunity to pick up an instrument during the interval.

"You never know – we might inspire the next generation of brass players."

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £3 for children under eight, and can be purchased HERE for the 2pm show and HERE for the 4pm show.
