Magnificent historic estate near Ripon to host Autumn Car Show next month
Britain’s most dedicated car enthusiasts will descend on Newby Hall and Gardens as the Autumn Sports Cars in the Park show returns to the historic estate.
Staged on Sunday, September 6, the show is one of Yorkshire’s most popular motoring events and brings together a large number of sports cars from clubs and individual owners across the UK.
Visitors can expect a wide range of prestigious marques including Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Lotus, alongside trade stands and market stalls.

Newby Hall is one of the UK’s finest Adam houses and is internationally celebrated as one of the largest and most complete surviving Chippendale interiors.
Tickets to the show include entry to Newby Hall’s award-winning gardens featuring one of Europe’s largest double herbaceous borders and the newly restored Edwardian rock garden, as well as the popular adventure playground, dollshouse and teddy bear exhibitions.
Visitors can also access the house, miniature railway and river boat rides.
Gates open from 10am–3pm.
There are discounts for children aged four to 15, while under‑fours go free.
