Harrogate's St Aidan's High School records 'impressive headline figures and individual success stories'

Students, staff and families at St Aidan's Church of England High School are celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results, with many of the school's headline measures reaching the highest levels ever recorded.

The outstanding outcomes reflect the dedication, resilience and ambition of the Class of 2026 and mark a significant milestone in the school's history.

Across a range of key performance indicators, students have achieved record-breaking results, cementing St Aidan's reputation for academic excellence and ensuring that more young people than ever are progressing to ambitious next steps.

Alongside these impressive headline figures, there were countless individual success stories.

Students achieved remarkable outcomes across a wide range of subjects, with many securing multiple Grade 9s and 8s, significantly exceeding expectations and opening up exciting opportunities for further study and future careers.

Nearly 90% of all students have achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and maths with students celebrating gaining a grade 7 (the old grade A) or above in every subject.

Some students have overcome real adversity to achieve grades that could never have been thought possible without the care, nurture and support of such a dedicated team of staff.
