POLICE are investigating an alleged theft after a passenger is alleged to have refused their fare from York city centre.
The incident happened at 11.30pm on June 27 after a person was picked up at York Railway Station.
The passenger was taken to Cornlands Road and upon drop off refused to pay the fare, North Yorkshire Police said.
A spokesperson said: “The sole occupant left without offering payment into a block of communal flats.
