Handcrafted goods and homemade treats will take centre stage in Ripon this weekend.
The Ripon Artisan Market returns to the city’s marketplace on Sunday, August 23, from 10am to 3pm, offering a day of shopping and discovery of independent stalls.
Visitors can browse stalls featuring crafts, jewellery, natural skincare, and street food from North Yorkshire’s finest independent makers and producers.
Jackie Crozier, managing director and founder of Little Bird Made, said: "We can’t wait to bring our monthly artisan market to Ripon this Sunday.
"Our goal is simple: to celebrate local Yorkshire creators, bring people together through shopping, and inspire visitors to spend the day discovering our beautiful city."
One of the traders taking part is Carlton Kitchen, an artisan food business known for its handmade fudge, mini quiches, and sausage rolls.
Owner Donna Taylor said: "We take huge pride in handcrafting everything ourselves, from our rich, creamy fudge and artisan mini quiches to our hugely popular savoury sausage rolls and pasties.
"There is nothing quite like the atmosphere of a Little Bird Market, and we can’t wait to share our sweet and savoury treats with everyone coming for a great day out."
Visitors can also take in some of Ripon's other attractions, including Ripon Cathedral and the nearby Fountains Abbey.
