The British establishment consistently persecutes those who do the right thing - Yorkshire Post Letters

On the night of September 5, 2022, armed police officers intercepted a vehicle linked to a serious firearms incident the previous day. The officers approached the vehicle, whereupon its driver, one Chris Kaba, tried to ram his way out of the interception. One officer fired a single shot through the windscreen leading to the driver’s death.

Rather than being congratulated for protecting his comrades and the public, the policeman was put through 47 months of hell. He was prosecuted for murder and acquitted, his identity was revealed to the gangster’s associates who reportedly put a price on his head, and then he was subjected to police professional misconduct proceedings.

This would be outrageous enough in itself, but this is just one example of the British establishment’s consistent policy of persecuting those who do the right thing. Old soldiers who served in Northern Ireland during the troubles are pursued, while former terrorists enjoy letters of comfort. Notoriously, those who served in Iraq were on the receiving end of fraudulent claims solicited by a dishonest lawyer.

This hostility to those doing the right thing is not limited to police officers and soldiers. The establishment consistently picks the wrong side: for illegal immigrants, rather than British citizens, for the rights of criminals, rather than those of law-abiding citizens, for the indolent, rather than those who work for a living, for agitators rather than those peacefully expressing their opinion.

The explanation for this is that the extreme left has completed Gramsci’s ‘Long march through the institutions’ and have inculcated the thinking of Frankfurt School Marxism throughout the country’s elite. We need a government with the courage to reverse this sinister takeover of our country.
