SIGHTINGS of suspicious vehicles are being sought following a burglary in a North Yorkshire village.
A quadbike and chainsaw were stolen from Hawnby, near Helmsley between July 28 and August 11.
Police said outbuildings were searched, and a Honda Foreman 450 quad bike (dark green) and a Husqvarna 435 chainsaw (bright orange with a grey handle) were taken.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "We’re particularly appealing for information about any suspicious vehicles in the area around the time of the offence - in particular, any silver-coloured 4x4 vehicles seen late at night.
