EIGHT people have been arrested and more than one kilo of suspected drug paraphernalia taken in a major police operation.
Nine warrants were executed across East Yorkshire by Humberside Police on Tuesday (August 18).
The operation was led by the Northbank Organised Crime Group Team, who were assisted by officers from numerous force teams, including British Transport Police and West Yorkshire Police.
The warrants were executed at addresses in Southfield Road, Driffield, The Close, Driffield, Middle Street North, Driffield, Eastgate North, Driffield, Middle Street South, Driffield and Harland Road, Bridlington.

North Yorkshire Police said: “The warrants resulted in eight arrests and seizures of over 1kg of suspected drugs estimated to be worth around £20k, cash, mobile phones and suspected drug paraphernalia
“Four men aged, 19, 21, 25 and 45 as well as two women aged 39 and a 46-year-old woman were all arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
“The 21-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of being in possession of class B drugs.
“A 24-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
“All eight remain in police custody at this time.”
