An anti-drugs operation in East Yorkshire resulted in nine arrests yesterday (Tuesday).
Humberside Police’s Northbank Organised Crime Group Team executed nine warrants.
These were at addresses in Driffield on Southfield Road, The Close, Middle Street North, Eastgate North and Middle Street South; and Harland Road, Bridlington.
Officers arrested eight people and seized more than 1kg of suspected drugs estimated to be worth around £20K.
They also confiscated cash, phones and suspected drug paraphernalia
Four men, aged 19, 21, 25 and 45, as well as two women aged 39 and a 46-year-old woman were all arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
The 21-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of being in possession of class B drugs.
A 24-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
All eight are in police custody.
