Police in Wakefield are appealing for the public’s help in reporting any information on the whereabouts of a man who is wanted after a serious sexual assault.
A force statement said: "Officers have been conducting extensive enquiries to locate and arrest Michael Connors, 28, since he was identified as a suspect for a rape offence in Normanton earlier this month."
Connors is known to have links to Warmfield and Castleford but may also have travelled further afield.
Anyone who believes they have seen him or who has any information that could assist the ongoing enquiries to locate him is asked to contact Wakefield District Safeguarding Unit via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/livechat or by calling 101, quoting crime reference 13260437273.
Any current sightings should be reported via 999.
