A POLICE cordon remains in place at an ASDA petrol station in Bradford more than two days after a man was found dead.
Emergency services were called to the petrol station on Rooley Lane at around 6.20am on Monday, August 17, following reports of a concern for welfare.
A man in his 40s was found dead at the scene.
His death continues to be treated as unexplained by West Yorkshire Police.
The T&A has contacted police on several occasions since the incident was first reported, including again this morning, but officers say enquiries remain ongoing.
Cordon remains in place
The cordon was still in place on Wednesday, with a section of the forecourt remaining sealed off as investigations continue.
One passer-by expressed surprise that the scene had remained closed off for more than 48 hours.
The cordon remains in place this afternoon.

They said: "It was surprising to see the cordon still in place two days after the incident."
Police yet to issue new statement
West Yorkshire Police's most recent statement on the matter remains unchanged.
A spokesperson said: "Emergency services were called to a report of a concern for welfare outside a petrol station on Rooley Lane, Bradford, at around 6.20am on August 17.
"A man in his 40s was sadly found dead and his death is being treated as unexplained."
