Man arrested after 'unexplained' death of woman, 25, in Travelodge Bradford hotel

A man has been arrested after a 25-year-old woman died at a hotel in Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police were called to the Travelodge Hotel on Roydsdale Way at about 3.15pm on Sunday, August 16, following concerns for the welfare of a woman.

The woman was found dead and her death is being treated as unexplained.

A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the investigation and has since been released on bail while inquiries continue.

Police said they are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers were called to reports of concern for the welfare of a woman at around 3.15pm on Sunday, August 16."

The spokesperson added: "A woman aged 25 has sadly died and her death is being treated as unexplained.

"Enquiries are ongoing and a 29-year-old male has been arrested and bailed in connection with this investigation."

The hotel is located on the Euroway Industrial Estate off the M606 motorway.
