A MAN has died after sustaining serious injuries in a collision in a supermarket car park.
West Yorkshire Police has confirmed that David Bush, 77, died on Monday following the incident at the Aldi car park on Halifax Road in Brighouse.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 12.55pm on Thursday, August 6, after reports that a Toyota Prius had been involved in a collision with a pedestrian.
Mr Bush was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remained under medical care before his death.

Family tribute
Paying tribute, his family described him as a devoted family man.
They said: "David was a much-loved husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed dearly by those who knew him."
Arrest made
A 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following the incident.
Police said he has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Major Collision Enquiry Team continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
They are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time, to come forward.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "A man has sadly died following a collision in Calderdale earlier this month.
"Officers were called to reports of a Toyota Prius that had been in collision with a pedestrian in the Aldi car park on Halifax Road in Brighouse at 12.55pm on Thursday 6 August.
"David Bush, aged 77, was taken to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries and sadly died on Monday (17 August).
"His family ask for privacy at this time.
"Paying tribute, his family said: 'David was a much-loved husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed dearly by those knew him.'
