A magical day of dragons and fairies is set to enchant families at Cliffe Castle Museum later this month.
The free drop-in event, hosted by the Bradford Council-run museum in Keighley, will take place on August 25 from 11am to 3pm.
Visitors will be welcomed into a world of fantasy filled with crafts, performances, and immersive storytelling.
Councillor Ian Walker, Bradford Council’s executive member for neighbourhoods and communities, said: "We're delighted to be welcoming families to Cliffe Castle Museum once again for a magical day of fun, creativity and discovery.
"The event brings together some fantastic local organisations and performers to create an unforgettable experience for children and their families.
"Whether you're meeting Bracewell the Dragon, enjoying fairy crafts or arriving in your favourite costume, there will be something for children of all ages to enjoy."
Children are invited to dress as their favourite fairy or dragon and take part in a full day of themed activities.
Highlights on the day include performances and appearances from local group Northwind Tribal Dancers, the chance to meet the official Cliffe Castle mascot Bracewell the Dragon, and displays from the Cottingley Fairy History Society, celebrating the local world-famous fairy folklore.
Young visitors can enjoy fairy-inspired crafts, dragon-themed games, face painting by Fairies Wardrobe, and special appearances from fairy folk during the event.
Families are also encouraged to bring along a teddy bear for a special picnic with Bradford Libraries.
Keighley Healthy Living will be on hand to share information about family wellbeing and support services, and younger guests can explore the 50 Things to Do Before You're Five scheme.
The event is free and open to all, with no booking required.
The magical day is part of a wider programme of summer activities taking place across the Bradford district.
