A police hunt is underway to locate a man in his 30s wanted in connection with an attempted murder.
Cleveland Police are searching for 34-year-old Stephen Gibson, who officers want to speak to following an incident in South Bank on August 3.
Police said a man suffered stab and slash wounds to his head and arm.
He was taken to hospital, where he received treatment for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Detectives from Cleveland Police’s Criminal Investigation Department have carried out enquiries, with two 25-year-old men arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
Both men have since been released on bail with conditions while enquiries continue.

Officers said Stephen Gibson has links to the South Bank area in Redcar and Cleveland and urged anyone who has seen him, or knows where he may be, to contact police.
