A North East wrestling star is headlining a family-friendly wrestling event in Teesside later this month.
The World Wide Wrestling League (W3L) will return to Queens Campus Sports Centre in Stockton on Friday, August 28, with local promotor Dropkick Championship Wrestling for an evening of action featuring six matches.
Leading the bill will be Hartlepool's Adam "Shreddy" Foster, who has made his mark on the world stage in recent years, with appearances for American wrestling organisations TNA Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling.

Away from the ring, Shreddy is also a seasoned bodybuilder - winning the Mr Britain title and becoming a NABBA World Champion.
He is competing for the NABBA Universe Championship in November.
Shreddy will take on 300lb Canadian wrestler Tim Strange in a strength-versus-strength contest in Stockton, with the local favourite hoping to body slam his heavyweight opponent and take home the win.
The Teesside match will also feature a championship match presented by Dropkick Championship Wrestling, with reigning champion Martin Kirby defending his title against local wrestler Spawn.
Others confirmed for the show include Scottish fan favourite "Irn" Drew Marshall and Pakistan's Saqib Ali.
