A man was banned from driving for six months after admitting careless driving following a car crash in a County Durham pub car park.
Simon Whitely, 34, of East Law, Consett, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates' Court on August 14.
He pleaded guilty to careless driving, failing to stop after an accident, and failing to report the accident on February 22.
The court hear Whitley was driving a Ford Transit in the car park of The Crown and Crossed Swords, Shotley Bridge, when an accident caused damage to a BMW X7.
He left the scene without stopping or reporting the crash.

The court imposed a six-month driving ban and ordered Whitely to pay a £288 fine, £600 compensation to the other driver, £85 in prosecution costs, and a £115 surcharge.
Whitely’s driving record was endorsed, but no penalty points were added.
He was ordered to pay in £100 monthly instalments.
His guilty plea was taken into account by the magistrates.
