New member of Harrogate company's team 'will bring in-depth experience'

A Senior Associate has been welcomed to the team at a leading Harrogate law firm.

McCormicks Solicitors has appointed Lanre Fakunle as its new Head of Employment law.

Lanre Fakunle joins the award-winning Harrogate-based firm from a Manchester practice, following the retirement of the former head of the department.

The new arrival brings in-depth experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters in all aspects of employment law.

Lanre Fakunle’s expertise includes advising on new HR, legal and company infrastructure and he is well versed in guiding businesses, from SMEs to large organisations, through TUPE, restructuring or redundancy smoothly and with minimal long term legal impact, and in attending Employment Tribunal hearings all over the United Kingdom.

Lanre will provide practical and commercial advice to employers and employees on employment matters, including employee incentives, rewards and initiatives, transfers and secondments, disciplinary hearings, sickness, absence and maternity leave frameworks, dismissals, discrimination claims, whistle blowing and protected disclosure matters.
